4. Genclik Kongresi – Vancouver – 14-16 Ocak 2011

Council of Turkish Canadians (CTC) olarak Dorduncu Genclik Kongresinin 14-16 Ocak 2011 tarihleri arasinda Vancouver’da gerceklesecegini duyurmaktan mutluluk duyuyoruz.

Council of Turkish Canadians (CTC) is proud to announce the Fourth Annual Turkish Canadian Youth Congress that will be held on January 14‐16, 2011, in Vancouver.
Turkish Canadian Youth Congress is organized for Canadian youth of Turkish origin and of other ethnic and cultural backgrounds, who

– are willing to take a positive and constructive role on issues related to Turkish Canadians, and
-wish to contribute to a balanced view and representation of Turkish Canadians in Canada and
around the world.
The congress will strive to provide young Canadians with:
– A forum for establishing friendships and solidarity as well as for networking
– A more truthful understanding of the Turkish heritage, history, culture and values
-A guide to making effective contributions to Canada’s multi‐cultural mosaic
-A chance to meet distinguished Canadian politicians, authors and educators
-Tools and information necessary to resolve Turkish Canadian community issues

PROGRAM
The conference will begin on the evening of Friday, January 14th with an opening reception. Saturday, January 15th is reserved for the presentations and the workshop will take place on Sunday, January 16th. The conference will close at 12:30 PM on Sunday.
A dinner ball is also being organized on Saturday evening with the live performance of Turkish musicians.
The program of the conference is still in the planning stage. Final program with more details will be communicated to the selected applicants.
